What a Hit!

This hit is the highlight from a game in which the Broncos played poorly. But, what a hit!

Sports Report Sept. 13 -14

Hurricanes (7-Year Old Flag Football)

I help coach sporticus and his team in Flag Football. This team is REALLY good! I run the defense, and let’s just say, if the Broncos had this kind of defensive prowess they would go unbeaten this year. Last year we won every game by silly scores. 40+ points scored versus less than 14 per game. So this year we decided to move up and play against some older kids.

We are now in a league of 3rd graders (everyone on our team are 2nd graders) Let’s just say the increased competition hasn’t changed the results. Week one we won 38 to 6. This week it was 41 to zip! The other teams get a bit cocky when they see that they are all a head taller than our squad, but it doesn’t take long (usually one or two plays) that we score on them.

Rockies

I went to the Rockies game tonight and they got worked pretty good by the Dodgers. The highlight was seeing Manny Ramirez. See ya next year Rocks!

Broncos

The Broncs looked great last week against the hated Raiders. The Raiders suck, but good teams beat the teams they are supposed to. So, job well done. This week will give us a better idea of how the team will be this year with the Chargers rolling into Mile High Stadium.

I don’t think the offense will have much trouble and should put up enough points to win. The Defense is still a big question mark. If they stand up and are able to stop the Chargers (something they haven’t been able to do the last 2 years), then it will be time to get excited!

Avs

Training Camp is starting next week and I can’t wait for Hockey season. Let’s hope the Red Wings take a step back to the pack this year, or it will all be a moot point.

NY Yankees

I think it’s official the highest paid team in baseball will not be going to the playoffs.  Is Joe Girardi going to be looking for a new job soon?
